Our Medical Team and Qualifications

Zen IV Spa is built on over 30 years of physician-led medical expertise. Our care model has three layers of oversight:

  • Licensed Medical Director: A licensed physician oversees our clinical protocols, treatment formulas, and safety standards.
  • Nurse Practitioners (NPs): Licensed NPs review intake forms, approve treatment plans, and supervise clinical decisions.
  • Registered Nurses (RNs): Every IV session is administered in person by a licensed Registered Nurse trained in IV insertion, sterile technique, and emergency response.

All of our providers hold active licenses in the states where they practice. Licenses are verified at hiring and monitored on an ongoing basis.

Services We Provide

Zen IV Spa offers IV hydration and vitamin therapy, including drips such as the Myers Cocktail, Hydration, Hangover, Migraine, and NAD+, along with IV add-ons and IM vitamin shots. We also serve groups and events, including corporate wellness sessions and private parties. Treatments combine fluids, vitamins, minerals, and provider-approved comfort medications such as anti-nausea, anti-pain, and anti-inflammatory options when appropriate.

Our services are wellness treatments. They are not a replacement for primary care, specialist care, or emergency medicine.

Medical Assessment Before Every Treatment

Your safety comes first. Before any treatment, you will complete a medical intake form covering your health history, current medications, and allergies. A qualified medical provider reviews this information and approves your treatment plan before your session begins. Your nurse also checks in with you on the day of service to confirm nothing has changed.

Our providers may decline, modify, or stop a treatment at any time if they believe it is not safe or appropriate for you.

Risks and Safety Protocols

IV therapy carries some risks, including bruising, soreness, vein inflammation, and in rare cases infection or allergic reaction. Our full discussion of these risks is in our Medical Disclaimer. To keep you safe, our team:

  • Uses sterile, single-use needles and supplies for every session
  • Follows hospital-grade infection control protocols
  • Screens every client for allergies and contraindications before treatment
  • Monitors you throughout your infusion
  • Carries emergency response supplies and follows clear emergency protocols

Emergency Protocols

Zen IV Spa is not an emergency medical service. If a medical emergency happens during a session, our nurse will stop treatment, provide immediate support within their scope of practice, and call 911. If you experience an emergency at any other time, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Do not wait for an IV appointment.

Insurance and Payment

Zen IV Spa does not accept health insurance. Payment is due at the time of service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards where eligible. Current pricing is published on our Packages and Pricing page, and membership plans are available for clients who book regularly.

Your Rights as a Client

As a Zen IV Spa client, you have the right to:

  • Know the name, title, and license type of every provider who treats you
  • Receive a clear explanation of your treatment, its benefits, and its risks before you consent
  • Ask questions and receive honest answers at any time
  • Refuse or stop treatment at any point
  • Have your health information kept private under our HIPAA Compliance Statement
  • Receive respectful, professional care in your home, office, or event space

Complaints and Concerns

If you have a concern about your care, please contact us first so we can make it right. You may also file a complaint with the New York State Department of Health or the appropriate professional licensing board for the provider involved. We take every concern seriously and will never retaliate against a client for raising one.
